On the front it has your typical power and reset switch, along with 4x USB 3.0, 2x USB 3.1 type C, along with mic and headphone jacks. Corsair also sells optional fan trays for the case if users want a different fan config, such as 3x 140mm in the front instead of the 8x 120mm that came by default. Fan support at its default configuration, supports up to 8x 120mm in the front, 2x 120mm at the rear, and 3x 140mm on top. The case has up to 8x 2.5" SSD trays, and 5x 3.5" drive bays. To power 2 system at once, case also allows for installation of 2 power supplies, a ATX and SFX. Inside the case it allows up to 2 full working systems, with the main top compartment for up to E-ATX motherboards with 8 expansion slots, and the bottom for a Mini-ITX system and 2 expansion slots for dual slot graphic cards. The case comes in at a measurement of 693mm (27.3”) for depth, 307mm (12.1”) width, and 697mm (27.4") for height. Corsair has added a new member to their Obsidian line up of cases, the Obsidian 1000D.
